Bad news for Pino Insegno. The presenter of Reazione a Catena announced on social media the death of his father Armando, remembering him with touching words.
"Dad, I would like to tell you so many things, but I have no words. My heart is broken. You were my guide, my friend, my everything. I don't know how I'm going to do it without you. But I will try, I promise. I will make you proud. Rest in peace, Dad. I love you," wrote Insegno on Instagram.
Many condolences from colleagues and fans have arrived under the post. "My deepest condolences, dear Pino," wrote Mara Venier. "A big hug, Pino," added Carlo Conti. "I am close to you in this immense pain," wrote Caterina Balivo.
Insegno had often spoken of his father, whom he considered a very important figure in his life. "My father was a great man," he had said in an interview. "He taught me everything. He taught me the value of work, the importance of family, and the love for life."
Armando Insegno was 84 years old and had been ill for some time. The funeral will be held in Rome on Monday, February 27th.
