MTV Host Shares Details of Neck Injury

Nev Schulman Posts Update on Instagram

Nev Schulman, host of MTV's popular reality show "Catfish: The TV Show," recently shared an update on his health with his followers on Instagram. Schulman revealed that he was recovering from a biking accident that left him with a broken neck.

"I'm feeling incredibly lucky to be alive after surviving a major bicycle crash earlier this week," Schulman wrote in his post. "I broke my neck, but miraculously it's stable and I'm expected to make a full recovery."

Schulman, who rose to fame in the 2010 documentary "Catfish," expressed gratitude for the support he has received. "Thank you to everyone who has reached out with well wishes," he said. "Your love and prayers mean the world to me."

Max Joseph's Return to "Catfish"

In a separate but related development, Max Joseph, Schulman's former co-host on "Catfish," is set to make a special guest appearance on the show. Joseph left the series after seven seasons in 2018.

"I'm excited to be back on the show that changed my life," Joseph said in a statement. "Nev and I have been through a lot together, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to support him and the team during this time."

The episode featuring Joseph is expected to air later this year. Schulman is expected to return to the show as host once he has fully recovered.
