Carlo Acutis: The "God's Hacker" Moves Closer to Sainthood

A Second Miracle Attributed to the Italian Teenager

Pope Francis has attributed a second miracle to Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager and computer prodigy who earned the nickname "God's Hacker." This is one of the last steps towards canonization.

A Life of Service and Faith

Carlo Acutis was born in London in 1991 to Italian parents. He was known for his intelligence, his love for computers, and his deep faith in God. From a young age, Carlo used his computer skills to create websites about the saints and to help the homeless.

Death and Sainthood

Carlo died of leukemia in 2006 at the age of 15. He was diagnosed with the disease just a few months earlier. Despite his illness, Carlo remained positive and strong. He offered his suffering to God for the conversion of others.

In 2010, Carlo was beatified by Pope Benedict XVI. In 2020, Pope Francis recognized a second miracle attributed to Carlo, clearing the way for his canonization.

A Model for Youth

Carlo Acutis is an inspiration to young people all over the world. He showed that it is possible to live a life of faith and service, even in a technologically advanced world. His story reminds us that we are all called to use our talents and abilities to make a difference in the world.
